TownePlace Suites by Marriott Detroit Allen Park

Great in its own right! I used to underestimate TownePlace Suites based on the name and the typical look of the building, but this stay completely changed my perspective. The room was fantastic, equipped with a large refrigerator, induction cooktop, coffee maker, and microwave. I really enjoyed my time there. Kristina at the front desk was very welcoming, and I loved the small but well-curated breakfast menu. I’d definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here for over a month so got to know the place and area fairly well. As a business location it's pretty good, main road access is excellent. If you spend lots of time working from the hotel I'd suggest other areas such as Novi, Northville or Troy. The room has everything you could ask for; oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, work desk and chair, couch, etc. The bed was ok, but I have slept on better. My only issue with the room is the rangehood isn't super effective which means you can't cook anything too smokey. The gym was ok, the pool was too small to swim laps but kids would like it, the shared laundry was ok also. The issue for me was the very poor breakfast, nearly everyday they had salty dry scrambled eggs that looked like it was made from powdered eggs, the sausage meat patties were also salty, they also had cereal (3 types, 2 of which were full of sugar), bagels, and yoghurt. Unfortunately, none of the hot food was to my taste (and are just defrosted and heated to be served each day, sometimes you get cold bits), I also spoke to one of the reception staff about it and they agreed it was below par. They also have coffee and hot water urns available all day except they usually ran out by mid afternoon and left empty till the next morning (I could've asked but didn't want to be asking every day, would've been nice if we could get a kettle for our room) The staff are great, they are all helpful and willing to assist without any hesitation. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't stay again purely because the breakfast was so poor, hopefully management sees the breakfast as more than a tick in a box.

Great staff. Amazing pool and hot tub. Excellent location, near 94 and 75 and lots of food options in the area.

I stayed Sunday night and checked out Monday . I was on a random road trip from Canada and I didn’t have a booking . The girl at the reception was amazing , she upgraded me to a suite . She also recommended a great place for me to go for dinner . In the morning the breakfast was amazing , I had a good choice being a vegan. Also the person who checked out was amazing , they signed me up for the Bonvoy rewards . I will definitely be back to stay here and will recommend to friends

The room was clean when we arrived. Location was near enough the airport that to and from our rental drop off was super quick and easy. Small hickups were our TV wouldn't connect to anything network and therefore wouldn't allow us to stream anything, even after a maintenance request. And the cleaning staff left us 3 days without doing linens, towels, etc. even after asking at the front desk. The ladies we contacted at the front desk were very attentive, and always pleasant to get towels, etc from.

There entire has been nothing short of friendly and courteous. There's a specific person however by the name of Melinda who work in the kitchen majority that I'd like to speak on she's the sweetest lady I absolutely love her. Highly recommend for further benefits.

Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff, the rooms are beautiful. My only problem is how dirty the room was when we arrived. There was stuff in the drawers from previous people, the floors had not been washed or even swept. It looked like it was cleaned in a rush and not done correctly. Aside from cleanliness, the hotel itself was awesome and great for a few days stay. Security was roaming every time we were outside, which was also nice to see! The wings place next to it was awesome as well, they have REALLY good food!!

My stay was good I came to visit some family, hotel room was nice and comfortable breakfast was good workout room was smooth I really liked that , housekeepers were nice & made sure my stay was smooth and recommended some good food spots. Housekeeper Davis I believe her name is although my stay was good definitely recommend..
